The Barbera family has been producing Sicilian olive oil in Palermo since 1894. This olive oil was created to celebrate three generations of Lorenzos in the Barbera family. Harvested by hand during the second week of October, Lorenzo No 5 extra virgin oil uses a single olive variety (100% Nocellara del Belice). Olive pits are extracted first, eliminating the bitter component of the olive. This process creates a dense, bright and golden oil of noted creaminess with a delicately spiced aroma. A 2014 Sofi award winner.
